I have found many threads about this issue but all of them just tell people to change to software playback to avoid crashes. I have a Nvidia GTX 770 card and it works fine in other software, even in after effects I have the GPU acceleration enabled and It doesn't crash or do anything weird, it's just premiere.

But since this issue started happening I tried reinstalling premiere, updating drivers, updating the OS to Windows 10, updating drivers again and even upgrading Premiere to 2015.1. I didn't change anything special recently, maybe some windows update, i was in Windows 7 and had automatic updates on. I've been using Premiere Pro CC 2015 for over a year (used Vegas before) and recently I have found this issue where if I switch my project settings for Playback and Rendering from software to CUDA as soon as i click on other window (windows explorer for example) Premiere crashes instantly.
